Set in the heart of Seattle University’s beautiful and tranquil campus, Sullivan Hall is a spectacular, five-story building that houses all law classrooms as well as faculty and administrative offices. It’s an ideal place to study and teach, with ample open space that fosters collaboration among students, faculty, and staff.
The building was named for former Seattle University President William Sullivan, S.J., who oversaw the acquisition of the law school in 1993 from the University of Puget Sound. Construction then began on the new home, which opened its doors to students in 1999.
Highlights of the building include:
Downtown Seattle – the epicenter of business, technology, and legal practice in the Northwest – is only a 15-minute walk from Sullivan Hall. The First Hill/Capitol Hill neighborhood, where Seattle U’s campus is located, is filled with an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, galleries, parks, and entertainment venues, providing a multiple places to enjoy your time outside of law school.
Inclusive restrooms are located throughout Sullivan Hall.
Please note: Some of these restrooms may be unavailable after business hours, when outer doors are locked.
Inclusive restrooms are one way that Seattle University works to respect the dignity of each person by providing inclusive and safe space for trans and gender non-conforming students, faculty, staff, and community members. Read more about Seattle University's inclusive restrooms.
