Directed toward enhancing levels of wellness and empowering students to be self-directed in their own care, Seattle University offers a number of services. 

Seattle University Student Health Center

The Student Health Center at Seattle University is where students can access vital health and wellness resources such as, medical services, counseling, student support, and peer health education. 

In case of emergencies such as an urgent medical or mental health issues, please call 911 and Public Safety.

Seattle University Counseling and Psychological Services

The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Seattle University is the primary student resource for mental health counseling and resource services.

TimelyCare

Seattle University has partnered with TimelyCare to offer students 24/7 access to virtual medical and mental healthcare from anywhere in the United States. This services is funded by the student wellness fee and provides a great supplement to our existing on-campus health and wellness services with no out-of-pocket cost or insurance requirement.

Apple Health

Apple Health is Washington State's Medicaid program and is a free or low-cost health insurance coverage for those who qualify. Covered services include primary care, emergency visits, maternity services, pediatric care, dental services, vision care, prescription medications, and more. Apple Health is available year-round and can be applied for through the Washington Health Plan Finder website. 

National Domestic Violence Hotline

The National Domestic Violence Hotline offers comprehensive resources to those affected by domestic violence, including a hotline and 24/7 online chat.

Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood provides affordable sexual and reproductive health care for women, men, and teens, as well as sex education and advocacy. 

Sound Health

Sound Health provides comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment services in King County, such as counseling, case management, supportive housing, and therapy for all ages. 

Seattle/King County Clinic

Seattle/King County Clinic is a volunteer driven, free health clinic that occurs for four days each year at Seattle Center. The Clinic welcomes anyone in the region who struggles to access and/or afford healthcare. 

The next Clinic will be held April 23-26, 2026 in Seattle Center.

Washington Health Benefit Exchange

The Exchange is a marketplace for health and dental insurance coverage for individuals and families.

WA Warm Line

Washington Warm Line is a peer support help line for people living with emotional and mental health challenges. Calls are answered by specially-trained volunteers who have lived experience with mental health challenges. All calls are confidential.
