Seattle U Law’s On-Campus Interview (OCI) programs connect a wide range of employers with SU Law students for summer and post-graduate opportunities.
In our new hybrid world of work, we offer employers the option of conducting their OCI interviews virtually or on campus.

Recent Grad OCI traditionally occurs in October, following the release of the July WA State Bar Exam results.
Recent Grad OCI connects employers to recent graduates who are seeking positions requiring a bar license, as well as JD-Advantage opportunities.
Spring OCI traditionally occurs in early March each year.
Spring OCI connects employers to first and second-year students seeking positions for the upcoming summer, as well as third-year students seeking post-graduate opportunities.
Summer/Fall OCI traditionally occurs during the month of August each year.
Summer/Fall OCI is primarily for rising second-year students seeking to secure a position for their second summer, as well as rising third-year students seeking positions for their final year of school and/or for post-graduate positions.
Employers who wish to manage the interview scheduling process themselves and conduct applicant interviews outside of a specific OCI timeline may still participate in OCI through a Resume Collect.
A Resume Collect allows employers to receive resumes (as well as any other materials requested by the employer) from students interested in the employer’s opportunity. Following the student application deadline, Resume Collect employers may contact candidates and schedule interviews themselves outside of the OCI process.
To participate in an OCI Resume Collect, employers should still register for OCI but select “Resume Collect” as the preferred interview format.
No. Employers may participate in OCI free of charge.
Yes. Job postings for student and attorney positions can be posted anytime throughout the year. Employers may post available positions using Symplicity or may contact LawCareers@seattleu.edu for assistance.
*Note: OCI programming will support both in-person and virtual interviews. If you would like us to collect resumes for your firm rather than interviewing on campus, please complete the Schedule Request Form, per above, and select “Resume Collection” rather than “Interview.”
