Grayson Evans
Class of 2028
Army
What did you do before law school?
I worked part-time while attending school full-time, and during this I maintained my monthly Army Reserve commitment. From 2021 to 2022, I was deployed to the Middle East, and when I returned, I finished my studies.
What led you to pursue law school?
I chose to pursue law school because I wanted to continue serving others after my military service. One of the Army's core values is selfless service, and Seattle University's Jesuit values and emphasis on service and social justice strongly align with that commitment. Law school felt like a natural way to continue serving others in a meaningful and lasting way.
How has Seattle University School of Law benefited you? What have you found most valuable during your law school experience?
Seattle U Law has provided a strong support network, especially as a veteran. The financial aid office has been patient and understanding about the fact that VA payments can be inconsistent or delayed, and they never made the process feel rushed or stressful. That level of understanding and support has made my law school experience much easier.
