What led you to pursue a law degree and why did you choose Seattle U?  

I decided to pursue a law degree because it is a great tool for social change. I chose to go to Seattle U because of its values, accessibility to the outdoor activities I love, and reputation in the community.

What have you found especially valuable during your legal education?

The Legal Writing Program has been incredibly valuable to my legal education. I developed a myriad of skills like analysis, synthesizing, and writing. The Legal Writing professors are readily available for support.

The support that career services has provided me is invaluable. They helped me with my resume and cover letters and directed me to all the internship opportunities that I have had.

What do you do outside of law school? What do you love about Seattle?

I love mountain biking, skiing, and running in my free time. I love how accessible the outdoors are.

What advice would you offer a prospective law student?

Law school is a challenge but incredibly rewarding. If you love the outdoors and don’t mind a little drizzle, Seattle University is perfect for you.
