- Earned or will earn a bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university prior to your enrollment.
- Taken one of the following tests:
- Law School Admission Test (LSAT) or
- Graduate Record Examinations Test (GRE) or
- JD-Next Exam
Decisions
To decide who to accept into Seattle U Law, the Admissions Committee considers three primary factors:
- Performance on LSAT, GRE, or JD-Next Exam
- Undergraduate academic record
- Personal and professional accomplishments
Considerations
- At least two evaluators review each application.
- Candidates’ statistical profile weighs heavily.
- However, we weigh all factors, including:
- exceptional professional achievements
- outstanding community service, and/or
- particular talents that will contribute to the law school community
Bar admission
- To become a practicing attorney, you must graduate from law school and be admitted to a bar in a particular jurisdiction.
- In addition to a bar examination, there are character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar in every U.S. jurisdiction. Applicants are encouraged to determine the requirements for any jurisdiction in which they intend to seek admission by contacting the jurisdiction.
