DRAFT Mission Statement

The Center aims to serve Indigenous law students, law practitioners, and Tribal Nations by:

  1. Placing an emphasis on Indigenous Peoples Law in the curriculum, research, programs, and projects at the law school.
  2. Providing unique learning opportunities to our law students through innovative classes, practical experience, and service to Tribal Nations.
  3. Conducting research in, and increasing awareness of, current legal issues in Indigenous Peoples Law.
  4. Developing programs and providing legal services in support of Tribal Nations.
