Knowledge in the service of global justice
The Center for Global Justice fosters multidisciplinary research, education, and advocacy about global legal issues, including human rights, dispute resolution, governance, development, security, and the environment. Through colloquiums, conferences, and publications, the Center actively engages with doctrinal and policy dimensions of key questions that confront international legal regimes. By engaging students in a Global Justice Practicum, the Center provides law students with experiential learning necessary to be effective lawyers and leaders for justice.
We will foster multidisciplinary research about critical global legal issues. Through colloquiums, conferences, workshops, and publications we will engage with theoretical, doctrinal and policy dimensions of key questions that confront global legal regimes.
We will provide law students with knowledge and experiential learning necessary to be competent lawyers and leaders for justice.
We will actively engage in advocacy and service in the cause of global justice. We will cultivate partnership within and beyond the legal academy to ensure vitality of these engagements.
