Our Building

Sullivan Hall is a spectacular, five-story building that houses all law classrooms, faculty offices, administrative offices, the law library, and a café. It’s a beautiful place to study and teach, with ample open space that fosters collaboration among students, faculty, and staff.

History

Our law school opened its doors on September 5, 1972, as the University of Puget Sound (UPS) School of Law in Tacoma, Washington. Seattle University acquired the law school 22 years later, in 1994, and we moved into our current home, Sullivan Hall, on the Seattle U campus in 1999.
