A speaker giving a presentationThe India Center for Law and Justice hosts distinguished speakers from the United States, India and around the world including Indian Supreme Court judges and academic scholars. The topics include constitutional law, contract law, corporate law, and human rights law. The former U.S. Ambassador to India, Richard Verma, was the Center’s inaugural speaker in September 2019. Other distinguished lecturers include Associate Professor Ananya Vajpeyi, Associate Fellow, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Vikram Khanna, William W. Cook Professor of Law, University of Michigan Law School, and Priya Gupta, Professor of Law, Southwestern University Law School.
