Human rights law, post-conviction work, juvenile justice reform
Involvement
I am the co-president of the International Law Society, the treasurer of the Seattle University Post-Conviction Appellate Alliance, the community outreach coordinator for If/When/How, and the former vice president of Community Engagement for the Womxn's Law Caucus. I have also volunteered with the Moderate Means Program and with the Seattle University Post-Conviction Appellate Alliance, and have been a research assistant for Professor Danieli Evans for the last two years.
Passion
We are the communities that we live in, which is why I believe it is important to give back to the community. Many of the issues that we face in society require community support from all angles and from all people. If we each can contribute a little bit to our communities, we can begin to build each other up. It is also important to remember that the law is not the only way that we can connect with and give back to our communities.
