Passion

To me, intellectual property law is an exciting and ever-changing area of the law that combines my interest in unique legal frameworks and policies with my love for various forms of artistic expression. It is an area of the law that has truly pushed me to think more creatively as far as my approach to legal issues and to explore how the law can be applied effectively in the contexts of those creating the art, fashion, and other content that we all enjoy. My hope is to be a force in this area when it comes to working with clients in their creative pursuits and when it comes to increasing the diversity and representation of South Asian women in IP law. I believe that as an area of the law that grows and thrives on expression in all its forms, IP law can continue to be one of the most fascinating areas of the law by including the voices of diverse creatives and attorneys in the conversation.
