Law
Federal Indian law, tribal law, and post-conviction work
Involvement
I am co-president of the Native American Law Student Association (NALSA), vice president of the Seattle University Post-Conviction Appellate Alliance (SUPAA), a board member of the American Indian Law Journal (AILJ), and have been a Moderate Means Program student intern at Seattle U since my 1L summer.
Passion
I feel that it is extremely important to be deeply involved in any community in which we find ourselves. The greatest impact that we are able to make is among those whom we see regularly and with whom we interact with the most. I have found it incredibly rewarding, especially in a stressful environment like law school, to build up community and work with others in shared interests to touch on real avenues of advocacy in our Seattle area. I want to focus my career on advocacy, support, and partnership with people in my community, especially those who are incarcerated and the Indigenous peoples of this land.
