Involvement

I have served on the executive board of the Asian Law Students Association (ALSA) as events director. During my term, I coordinated the annual Karaoke Night and other community building events. I am a mentor through the ALSA Mentorship Program. I am also a Rule 9 licensed intern in the Immigrant Justice Clinic. I am currently working on a Special Immigrant Juvenile Status case to protect children from familial harm and provide safety in the form of United States residency. Lastly, I was invited to speak at the annual LawYours program in 2022, where I shared advice and my personal story in hopes of inspiring the younger generations from underrepresented backgrounds to join the field of law..

Passion

Upon graduation, I seek to become an immigration attorney to continue advocating for the immigrant rights movement. My professional and personal experiences remind me to speak from a place of compassion, kindness, and empathy. Too often, we underestimate the power of those things, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. I am incredibly grateful for where I am now in life and I hope to empower our community by serving as a resource.
