Passion
As a born and raised Washingtonian, I invest any spare time I have into bettering my community so that it reflects a place in which I am proud to live. Outside of law school, I lead a life committed to civic engagement. For nearly seven years, I have served as a board member for Choose 180, a nonprofit organization designed to break the school-to-prison pipeline for young people. I also volunteer for the George Pocock Rowing Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting low-income youth and youth of color who seek a community through the sport of rowing. Community service is at the core of who I am, and pro bono work will play a significant role in my future career as an attorney.
