Biography

Gemma Zanowski is a senior partner at Strittmatter Kessler Koehler Moore, a preeminent Seattle personal injury and civil rights law firm. She has over a decade of civil litigation experience, trying cases to verdict in federal court and state courts across Washington. Gemma has a particular interest in litigating cases against the government and against insurance companies. She enjoys being on the forefront of developing legal areas. She strongly believes that accountability in the courtroom translates to accountability in the community. One case can change a community.

Outside her law practice, Gemma has a decades long history advocating for animal welfare issues and responsible dog ownership. She has served on the boards of multiple non-profits, founded a dog rescue, fosters dogs for local rescues, and pro bono advises non-profits and small businesses that focus on animals. She has two Dobermans she adopted from local humane societies and enjoys running and competing in dog sports with her dogs.
