Professor Soderman has spent the past 18 years as a civil litigator for a mid-sized insurance defense firm that she eventually became a partner at. Professor Soderman joined the Legal Writing faculty initially as an adjunct while maintaining her practice and is now a Visiting Professor. She remains an active member of the Washington State Bar and assists at her firm when time permits.
