Youssef Sneifer is Vice President of Regulatory Compliance and Risk at Trustly, a global open banking and payments company. He has more than twenty years of experience at the intersection of financial services, technology, regulation, and innovation.
Previously, Mr. Sneifer served as Vice President of Regulatory and Compliance at GoCardless, where he led global regulatory, compliance, and product counsel functions supporting payments and open banking products across more than 30 jurisdictions. Prior to GoCardless, he was a Strategist, Advisory Counsel and co-chair of the Fintech and Blockchain Industry Group at Perkins Coie LLP.
Mr. Sneifer also served as President and Director of Microsoft Payments, Inc. and as Assistant General Counsel at Microsoft, where he advised on global payments, e-commerce, and financial services matters. Throughout his career, he has counseled fintech companies, financial institutions, and technology companies on payments, digital commerce, open banking, blockchain, artificial intelligence, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
