Biography

Michael Santana is a 1992 graduate of the CUNY School of Law. After graduating law school, he practiced for five years in New York City. In 1998, he accepted a clerkship with the Washington Supreme Court, and from 1999-2004 he was an assistant professor of legal writing at Vermont Law School and the University of Montana School of Law. At both these schools, he taught first-year legal writing and appellate advocacy. In 2005, he started an online law school preparatory course for entering law students that existed until 2013. More than 1000 students from a dozen law schools nationwide participated in the course. In 2015 he became an adjunct professor of legal writing and appellate advocacy at the St. Francis Law School, one of the first online law schools.
