Biography
Fred Rivera is the CEO and Founder of The Rivera Group, a sport business advisory firm, and prior Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the Seattle Mariners. Fred also serves as an independent board director on public and private companies. Prior to joining the Mariners, Fred was a partner at Perkins Coie, including a stint as the Managing Partner of the firm's Seattle office. He started his legal career as a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, and also spent two years as a vice president and officer at Fannie Mae. Fred is a graduate of Gonzaga School of Law and California State University, Northridge.
