Claire graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2015, clerked at the Washington State Court of Appeals Division II, and then worked as a litigation associate at Pacifica Law Group. There she represented public, private, and non-profit clients and counseled them on a variety of issues including constitutional, governance, civil rights, public records and open meetings act, elections and ballot measures. Claire has represented political entities in pre-and post-election challenges and has assisted with developing state legislation. She also served as a Special Assistant Attorney General to support Washington State with implementing Keep Washington Working, a law meant to ensure immigrants' safety, productivity, and dignity.
Claire left Pacifica during the pandemic to help her father run a small personal injury firm in Tucson, Arizona. They fought for low-income individuals and families against major healthcare and insurance entities, addressing medical negligence, unsafe road design, and defective medical products. There, Claire had several jury trials, including a three-week wrongful death trial wherein a jury awarded her clients $3 million against a surgeon and his practice.
She is committed to public service and social justice. She served as the Co-Chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the Federal Bar Association of the Western District of Washington from 2017 through 2025, helping the Court assess federal civil rights claims and find pro bono counsel for low-income individuals. She has also served as pro bono counsel for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands, for an unaccompanied minor to achieve U.S. residence through Kids in Need of Defense, as well as for the National Democratic Women's Caucus.
Her practice is presently focused on consumer protection, tenant rights, reproductive health and other health data protections, AI, and student loan protections.
