Biography

Erin Lennon is a mediator, consultant, and attorney who helps parties and organizations resolve disputes, manage internal conflict, and strengthen relationships.  Prior to opening a solo practice, Erin served as the first openly LGBTQ+ Clerk of the Washington State Supreme Court.  Erin previously served the Supreme Court as Deputy Clerk and as a long-term law clerk to Justice Susan Owens.

While at the Supreme Court, Erin focused on access to justice issues such as language access, racial equity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, disability accommodations, reducing court fees, mentoring junior attorneys, and making court rules more just and transparent. In recognition of these efforts, Erin received the Board of Judicial Administration’s Innovating Justice Award and the WSBA and Access to Justice Board’s Norm Maleng Leadership Award.  Erin remains active in efforts to increase access to the courts.

Prior to working at the Supreme Court, Erin worked at a private law firm, as the volunteer manager of the LGBTQ Legal Clinic, and a board member of the Pride Foundation.  During law school, Erin served as the student regent on the University of Washington Board of Regents, managing editor of Washington Law Review, and a board member of the law school’s LGBTQ+ student organization. Prior to law school, Erin worked in domestic and international HIV prevention at the University of Washington.
