
In addition to serving as an adjunct professor with Seattle U School of Law (SU), Linda J. Hiemer consults with federal and local law enforcement agencies on matters related to compliance, policy and training. Most recently, she served as the Program Administration Manager for Legal Education with the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (CJTC). Prior to joining CJTC, Linda served as the Senior Director of Graduate Programs for SU. Additional previous roles included Director of Online Learning and Associate Professor of Law at Vermont Law School, VP of Academic Affairs at the University of the Rockies, and Dean of Curriculum with Concord Law School.
Linda received her B.A. in History with Honors from Lafayette College and her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law, Penn State University. She began her career as a practicing attorney in Alaska in 1992. In addition to practicing law, she has spent over 25 years designing, developing, assessing, teaching, and managing online, campus, and hybrid programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. When she's not helping students achieve their academic and professional goals, Linda can be found chasing wild trout "on the fly" or hiking with her wife and their two leonbergers.
