Jay Gairson is the founder of Gairson Law, LLC, where he addresses immigration and national security matters through a systems-based methodology that examines how legal, technological, and policy structures interact to create hidden barriers. His practice focuses on immigration and national security law at the intersection of law, technology, and policy. He represents individuals and businesses in complex immigration cases involving terrorism and national security inadmissibility claims, agency delays, fraud and criminal allegations, travel restrictions, and other high-stakes issues. His work emphasizes identifying systemic obstacles and developing durable, client-centered solutions.
Jay serves on the Washington State Domestic Extremism and Mass Violence Task Force, contributing to the development of community-based and public-health strategies for preventing extremism. He is also the Co-Founder and Vice President of the Washington Immigrant Defense Network (WIDEN), an organization dedicated to expanding representation for detained immigrants and mentoring immigration attorneys.
