Biography

Brad Forst has over 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer in private practice, in-house general counsel, CEO of public and private companies, and currently as a law professor. He earned his LL.M. at Columbia University School of Law and has been a professor for over 20 years at both the W.P. Carey School of Business and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. At the ASU college of law, in addition to his teaching, he served as Director, Undergrad Business Law for 7 years, building the curriculum and academic team for the Business Law degree at the ASU business school. Brad became an adjunct professor at Seattle University in 2021.

Prior to his academic career, Brad was a corporate lawyer in both private practice and as in-house general counsel. He later transitioned to the business side and served as the CEO of one publicly traded company and three private companies. That experience includes law, finance, technology, aerospace, international, and the board of directors of several companies, including two public companies. He is admitted to the practice of law in Texas (Emeritus) and Arizona (Ret).
