Biography
Jeremy Eckert in the founder of Tharsis Law PS, a boutique law firm focusing on real estate development in the Puget Sound region. Previously, Professor Eckert was a partner and the chair of the land use group at Foster Pepper PLLC. Earlier in his career, Professor Eckert managed complex conservation real estate acquisitions at Forterra (formerly the Cascade Land Conservancy).
Professor Eckert graduated with high honors from the University of Michigan with a degree in history, and he earned a law degree cum laude from Seattle University School of Law. He has received the Governor's Smart Communities Award for his work in the City of Tacoma, and he is listed as a "Rising Star" in Washington Super Lawyers
