Biography

A partner with the Seattle office of Miller Nash, LLP, Professor Cumbow's practice focuses on trademark, copyright, publishing, Internet legal issues for technology, advertising, arts and entertainment. He has been chair of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Washington State Bar Association, a Board Member of the Intellectual Property Section of the Washington State Bar Association, and a Board member and past president of Washington Lawyers for the Arts. He has written widely on law, language, art, film, and lifestyle topics, and has taught at Seattle University, the University of Washington, and Seattle Central Community College.
