Favian Mares
Class of 2028
"Taking Criminal Law over the summer gave me the space to focus on one class, figure out how I learn best, and get comfortable with the pace of law school. After spending several years in the professional world, the smaller class setting made it easier to ease back into the rhythm of being a student. The hands-on learning and in-class discussions helped me build the kind of analytical skills that are unique to law school, while also forming connections with classmates who've become part of my support system."
