Class of Assistant Dean for Academic Excellence and Bar Success and Associate Professor of Law
"With its relatively small class size, summer Crim enables students to cultivate a sense of belonging to the Law School community and the legal profession and to develop relationships with their colleagues. Year after year I have seen students form relationships with their peers during the summer that endure throughout law school and into practice.
A big part of the transition into law school is learning how to most efficiently and effectively learn the material covered in law school courses. Summer Crim allows students to experiment with learning strategies in the context of a single course and to prepare for and take a law school final exam, giving the students a significant head start on their legal education.
Summer Crim students are a joy to teach because they are intellectually curious and enthusiastic to learn."
