All entering students have the option to begin their first year in June, before the start of the traditional law school academic year in the fall. During a six-week summer term, you take one Criminal Law class. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this option, which provides the following benefits:
- Ease into the rigors of law school by focusing on just one class
- Become oriented to Seattle U Law in a less hectic environment
- Reduce your first spring course load by one class
- If you’re new to the region, summer is a perfect time to settle into your new home by getting to know Seattle
- Classes are offered at convenient times to allow you to work
