Externship Description

Trupanion is a direct-to-consumer monthly subscription service providing a medical insurance plan for cats and dogs throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The Company enrolled its first pet in Canada in 2000 and its first pet in the United States in 2008. Trupanion is now one of the largest pet insurance providers in North America.

Trupanion is looking for a talented intern to join its legal team. This team member will: 1) prepare legal agreements for marketing affiliates, independent contractors and other third parties, 2) have an opportunity to participate in outlining the process for maintaining accurate legal agreement data on an ongoing basis as agreements are updated, renewed or newly contracted, 3) have an opportunity to participate in providing response to small claims affairs, and 4) assist with corporate governance matters, including corporate transactions.
