Externship Description

Early Resolution Case Managers (ERCMs) work in Family Law cases to provide pro se litigants with forms assistance and dispute resolution. ERCMs also present the Family Law Orientation, work with judges and commissioners to research case specific issues, and continuously work to streamline processes and procedures. Externs will be working with ERCMs to draft legal pleadings, research case specific issues and participate in the development of new programs or procedures. Externs will be required to work at the King County Courthouse in Seattle, the Youth Services Center in Seattle, and the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.
