The Legal Writing Institute (LWI) has renamed a prestigious teaching award for Professor Emerita Laurel Oates ’78.

Mimi Samuel, a beloved faculty member who has been a fixture at Seattle U Law for 26 years, is retiring at the end of June.

Janet K.G. Dickson ‘88, a dedicated faculty member, will retire at the end of the 2024-25 academic year in June.
