Informing, Building and Celebrating Our Alumni Community

Lorena Gonzalez '05Greetings on behalf of the Law Alumni Board! We hope you are gearing up for a fabulous weekend with your fellow alumni colleagues. This weekend is all about reconnecting you with your former classmates and friends. We have two days of special activities, including champagne reception reunions for the 10, 20 and 30 year classes, lunch with the dean, alumni awards and compelling speakers, to make it easier for you to connect.

For those of you celebrating your reunion, watch for additional information from your class representatives. They will be contacting you with updates on special reunion gatherings at local spots in Seattle, where you can spend even more time connecting with your classmates. For more information, please visit our Alumni Weekend website.

Showcase of Ronald A. Petersen Clinic
Come learn about the incredible programs offered in the Ronald A. Petersen Law Clinic. Students learn the fundamental skills and values of practicing attorneys by representing clients under faculty supervision. The clinic’s practice encompasses a wide range of subjects. Clinic students engage in litigation, counseling and transactional work (both business and personal). They advocate before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, as well as other domestic and international tribunals. Consistent with the law school’s mission, the clinic teaches students the habit of reflection, the value of collaboration and unforgettable lessons about what it takes to make justice a reality in the lives of those who cannot afford to pay for legal services.
