Learning from the Master Bard

8:30 a.m.  -  12:30 p.m.
Location: Sullivan Hall, Room 110

Take your arguments to the next level by learning from the best-Shakespeare. In a fun and engaging workshop we will deconstruct, speak and play with one or more of Shakespeare's master speeches. We will explore how he uses figures of speech (Antithesis, Ladders, Parallel Structure, Repetition, Little Big Words) to craft compelling and effective arguments. There will be different types of exercises and individual coaching on structure, voice, body language, and rapport with audience as time permits
