Anu Zangri joins our clinic faculty for the Fall 2019 semester to teach the Youth Advocacy Clinic with Paul Holland. She has been a public defender for over a decade, spending most of her time representing adults charged with felony offenses, and juveniles charged with both felonies and misdemeanors. During her career she has litigated over 40 trials, in everything from Driving with a Suspended License to First Degree Murder. She has taught her colleagues on various trial aspects, including cross-examination of young witnesses in sex cases, and preparing an effective theme for trial. A Seattle University School of Law alumnus, she was a student in the Youth Advocacy Clinic in 2007, worked on an appellate matter with Bob Boruchwitz for a clinic client, received two CALI awards, and was co-chair of the 2008 Class Gift Committee.
