Biography

Nancy J. Lee is an adjunct professor for Introduction to Elder Law. She is also in private practice in Puyallup, Washington. Before becoming an attorney, Nancy worked for The Boeing Company for twenty- two years, primarily as an Engineering Manager. Her career at Boeing included Senior Management responsibilities in Maintenance Engineering, responsible for authoring the Maintenance Manuals and Fault Isolation Manuals for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Nancy also served as an engineering Customer Service representative to several Midwest commercial airlines. In her long career at Boeing, Nancy regularly developed and facilitated process improvement workshops as well as leadership skills development teams.

While maintaining her work responsibilities at the Boeing Company, Nancy attended Seattle University School of Law, graduating cum laude in December, 2008. Shortly thereafter, she left The Boeing Company to become an Associate with Rose Law Office in February, 2009. She opened her own practice in Puyallup in February, 2012, where she continues to practice. Nancy is committed to serving senior persons and persons with disabilities in her community. Her practice focuses primarily on estate and Medicaid planning, trusts, guardianship, and probate. She also provides related estate planning services to persons of all ages.

Nancy is a member of Inns of Court, whose mission is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills. She is also currently the Vice-President of the Washington Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She volunteers regularly for the First Responder's will clinic sponsored by the Washington Bar Association.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Nancy grew up in Burien, Washington, where her father, Malcolm Bell, was also an attorney. Her son, David Morganthaler, graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2015.
