James (Jamie) Corning is an Associate General Counsel at Zulily, a Seattle-based online retail/e-commerce company. He oversees the company's intellectual property portfolio and advises the company in connection with a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. Jamie teaches the evening section of Ethics & Professional Responsibility at Seattle University School of Law.

Prior to joining Zulily in 2019, Jamie practiced law at Davis Wright Tremaine, where he concentrated on complex commercial litigation involving antitrust, intellectual property, and consumer protection issues. Before pursuing a legal career, Jamie worked for nearly a decade as a software developer and program manager for Microsoft and other local tech companies.

Jamie currently serves on the Board of Directors for the QLaw (LGBTQ+) Bar Association of Washington and Northwest Justice Project.
