Erin Moody received her M.A. in English from Western Washington University in 2007 and her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2012. In her final year of law school she served as Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the Washington Law Review. Since January 2013, she has clerked for Justice Sheryl Gordon McCloud at the Washington State Supreme Court.

Before law school, Erin taught introductory writing courses at Western Washington University, Henry Ford Community College, and the University of Washington Tacoma. As a law clerk, Erin has supervised numerous judicial externs; she enjoys helping students develop their legal writing and analytical skills. Erin volunteers for Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services at the Safe Place Legal Clinic and is a co-author of The U.S. Supreme Court on Disability Law: Sixteen Modern Cases (Carolina Academic Press 2014).
