Advertising, Marketing, and Consumer Law


Andrew Sacks is Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs, at T-Mobile USA in Bellevue, WA. Andy joined T-Mobile in 2009. He currently leads legal teams consisting of approximately 50 lawyers, paralegals, and support staff, who support the company's Customer Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Privacy functions. His previous experience includes in-house legal positions at Dell Inc. (Austin, TX) and Ameritech Corp (Chicago), in which he provided counsel and advocacy on a wide array of consumer and business law issues.

Prior to his in-house legal experience, Andy was in private practice in Washington DC, where he represented several advertising agencies and served as outside General Counsel to the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation (the Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington.) Andy began his legal career as a trial attorney with the Federal Trade Commission in its Division of Advertising Practices, and also served as Program Advisor for the FTC's food and drug advertising enforcement program. He is a frequent speaker at professional and governmental conferences on issues involving advertising and marketing law. Andy currently shares ownership interest (with his wife Susan) in two dogs and four children.
