Since 2014, Allyn has taught Environmental Enforcement as part of the adjunct faculty at Seattle University. She is excited to begin teaching at the SU School of Law and is scheduled this year to begin co-teaching the Environmental Enforcement course. While living in San Francisco, she was part of the adjunct faculty at the University of California Hastings School of Law, teaching courses in Negotiations and serving as the coach for the Environmental Negotiation Team.

Allyn is also Regional Counsel for the Environmental Protection Agency. Her office, located in Seattle, WA is responsible for legal advice and counseling to the Regional Administrator, Deputy Regional Administrator, and program offices serving the states of Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska. She also provides legal support for civil and criminal enforcement actions under all federal environmental statutes throughout the Region. In addition to counseling on environmental law, Allyn and her team of attorneys provide advice on matters including government ethics, contracts, grants, employment and labor law, tribal law, and information law.

Allyn is originally from Chicago, and is a graduate of Indiana University and the George Washington University National Law Center. She lives in Seattle with her husband, teenage daughter, an adorable dog, and a psychotic cat.
