Cyber-Security - A Practical Guide

8:25 a.m.  -  4:00 p.m.
Location: Sullivan Hall, Room 110

This CLE is designed to be a practical and not-too-technical guide for counsel, focusing on real-world and practical situations that you will need to address for your clients including the critical issues of privacy and cyber-risk. Panels will consist of: in-house counsel, outside counsel, regulators, a CIO, and even a tech reporter from Geekwire. The program will have three primary "units" that will help provide you with: (1) an overview of regulatory issues (including FTC regulation, NIST, cross-border issues, and financial regulatory issues), (2) minimizing risk in day-to-day operations (including through vendor contracting/management and insurance), and (3) emerging tech and new risks.
