Solving Challenges in Your Law Practice – a new type of learning CLE

February 22, 2018 | 3.0 Other CLE Credits

We all face challenges in our law practice, whether it's in the intake of clients or the managing of cases there is no shortage of difficulties lawyers face. Join us for a new style of CLE modeled after the emerging approach for engaging professionals and finding new answers to common problems: a Hackathon.

Overview

In this fast-paced program you will learn strategies for finding fast, effective, and comprehensive solutions to problems. Best of all, you'll be given an opportunity to practice these skills. Attendees and lawyers from Volunteer Legal Services and local firms will be given a chance to present to the group work challenges they face in their practice; attendees will then have the opportunity to work together in small groups to develop an answer and/or approach for solving the problems using the skills they have learned. At the end, each small group will have a few minutes to present their solution to a judging panel who, in good fun, will name a winner of the Hackathon.

This program is priced at only $39 for three credits to encourage you to try this new type of CLE. The program will be held at the Old Town Music Society Venue in Tacoma. So come, bring your problems, and together we will work to improve the profession for everyone.
