Externship Program

Apply to Spring 2018 Externships Now!

Important! Read before applying:

The In-House/Goverment Seminar and Judicial Seminars are now filled for spring 2018. Students can no longer apply to in-house, goverment agency, and judicial externships for credit but may apply as an intern (for no credit) if the site allows. Students who have already contacted the Externship Program Office regarding placements in these categories and are in the process of applying have a spot reserved in one of these seminars; students with in-house/government or judicial offers and have already contacted the Externship Program Office have a spot reserved in the seminar. There is still space in the Judicial Olympia Seminar, Legislative Seminar, Civil Seminar, Criminal Seminar, and International Seminar.

Our expansive Externship Program will expose you to a variety of domestic and international job placements that provide a bridge from law school to practice. We have more than 700 sites, ranging from the chambers of the Washington State Supreme Court to the International Criminal Court at the Hague in the Netherlands.
