Classrooms Technology
All classrooms in Sullivan Hall come with standardized technologically enabled
smart podium systems. Therefore, users only need to learn how to interact with
one classroom to know how to use them all.
What to expect in every classroom:
- Telephone for calling for help (ringer is turned off)
- White boards (Faculty must provide their own pens)
- Wireless network and wired Ethernet cable on every podium
- Power jacks for laptops
- Fixed podium microphone and wireless clip on microphone* (Except in C7,
327, 328, 329, and the Clinic conference room)
- Smart-podiums with touchscreen controls
- Document readers
- VCR players for American NTSC formatted VCR tapes
- DVD-Video and Audio CD players
- Voice-Lift system in largest classrooms for student questions.
- Audio and Video Conferencing (with prior arrangements)
*Keys are available to the wireless microphone lock box in each room.
What you will not find:
- No fixed computers; you will need to bring a laptop
- No Apple video connectors; MAC users will need to bring their own VGA adaptors
