Cross Registration

Law students who have completed their first year of legal studies may transfer up to 6 quarter credits (4 semester credits) from a specified list of approved business courses at the Albers School of Business and Economics (ASBE) towards their J.D. degree. Eligible students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and must meet the prerequisite requirements for the course or receive permission from the ASBE Director of Graduate Programs. In order for the credits to transfer, students must earn a “B” or better. Grades received in business school courses will not be used in calculating the law school grade point average. Pursuant to ABA rules, under no circumstances may student receive retroactive credit for business school courses taken prior to entering law school.
