* The Riddell Williams (RW) Diversity Fellowship offers a 2L the opportunity for a salaried summer associate position and a $5,000 scholarship. In some cases, RW may offer part-time employment during the student’s third year at law school. Candidate must possess a distinguished academic record, leadership ability, commitment to community service, and personal and professional accomplishments with ability to make contributions to the diversity of RW and the legal profession; and demonstrated need for financial assistance may be taken into consideration. * Lane Powell has created the George V. Powell Diversity Scholarship. The George V. Powell Scholar will be a 2009 summer associate in the firm's Seattle or Portland office and receive a $7,500 scholarship toward tuition and expenses during the student's third year of law school. Candidates must be in their second year of law school or third year of a joint degree program, demonstrate a desire to work, live and practice in Seattle or Portland and contribute to the diversity of the legal community. * Banner & Witcoff offers the Donald W. Banner Diversity Scholarship, providing up to $5,000 for fall term during second or third year of law school. It is open to all law students with a commitment to IP law and who are members of a minority (including those underrepresented in the field).
