Land Use Section
Since 2001, Roger Wynne has been an Assistant City Attorney in the Land Use Section of the Seattle City Attorney's Office, where he gets to practice the law he most enjoys for the city he loves. Professor Wynne began his career with the Seattle office of Preston Gates & Ellis LLP, where he practiced both environmental and land use law. After graduating from Yale University with a degree in history, he earned a master's degree in environmental policy and a law degree from the University of Michigan. He has served on the WSBA Court Rules and Procedures Committee (including service as Chair),the Executive Committee of the WSBA Environmental and Land Use Law Section, and as a director on the Board of the Northwest Justice Project. His article, The Path Out of Washington's Takings Quagmire: The Case for Adopting the Federal Analysis, was published in the 2011 issue of the Washington Law Review.
