Please complete the prospective student form to receive updates and information about on-campus events, application webinars, and more. As a rolling admission school, we will begin accepting applications on October 1. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit our campus and learn more about the law school.
How to Apply
While the application priority deadline is March 1, (February 1 deadline for a completed application for consideration for the Access Admission program) you should submit your application materials as soon as you are prepared to do so. You need not wait until you have taken the LSAT and/or received your score.
- Register with the Law School Admission Council's (LSAC) Credential Assembly Service (CAS). Details available on the LSAC website.
- Complete the Application for Admission online. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.
- Submit the following along with the application form:
(a) a $60 application fee, payable on the LSAC website. Note that the application fee is waived from October 1 through February 1;
(b) a personal statement, typed, double-spaced, no more than three pages; and
(c) a resume detailing your academic endeavors, community service record, and employment history.
- Submit an optional addendum if desired to address, for example, a large discrepancy between LSAT scores, a diversity statement, or anything else you wish to share with the Admission Committee that is not included elsewhere in your application.
- Take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Registration details, testing locations, and more information about the test are available from LSAC.
- Send transcripts of all your undergraduate work (and any graduate transcripts, if applicable) directly to LSAC. Note that if admitted, you must submit a final, official transcript showing the conferral of your bachelor's degree prior to enrollment in the law school. The copies of transcripts included in your CAS Report are not official.
- Arrange to have two (2) letters of recommendation (a maximum of three) submitted on your behalf. Of particular influence are evaluations from professors or professional colleagues who can attest to your work ethic, analytical and writing abilities, and other positive attributes. Your recommenders must submit letters directly to LSAC.

In order to keep you up to date on the most current information regarding your application file, you may check the status of your application online through LSAC. Information will be updated on a regular basis. Please note that it can take up to two weeks for your file to complete, based on the timing of the arrival of your CAS report and other materials. Please note that all admission decisions will be sent via e-mail. Please ensure that the Office of Admission has your current e-mail address.
