Access Admission Program
Each year, the law school admits a small number of students through its acclaimed Access Admissions Program. This program recognizes students from historically disadvantaged and under-represented communities. Though their potential for success may not be accurately reflected by the traditional numerical indicators such as LSAT scores or undergraduate GPAs, Access Admissions students have demonstrated grit, perseverance, and the ability to overcome substantial obstacles.
Interested candidates must complete their applications by February 1, including the submission of a valid LSAT score, undergraduate transcripts, letters of recommendation, and all other required application materials.
Access Admission students begin their legal studies each June, enrolling in a substantive, first-year class and participating in intensive workshops designed to cultivate their study and test-taking skills. Following the first summer term, the Academic Resource Center offers the students the support, guidance, and academic skill instruction necessary for them to find success throughout their law school careers and on the bar exam.
Access Admission is highly competitive and enrollment in the program is limited to ten percent of the incoming class. For more information about Access Admission, please contact the Office of Admission at 206-398-4200 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
